Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or the airport for the journey to Siwa Oasis. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our accommodation for rest and a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, we will explore the ancient city of Shali, a historic fortress built from kershef, a unique material of salt and mud. The views from the top are perfect for photos as you learn about its history. We will end the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

After a traditional breakfast, our historical exploration continues. We visit Gebel el-Mawta, the Mountain of the Dead, to see its fascinating ancient tombs. Next, we journey to the Temple of the Oracle, one of the most important archaeological sites in the Western Desert, famously visited by Alexander the Great. After a rest for lunch and fresh juice, we visit Cleopatra’s Bath, a beautiful stone pool fed by a natural hot spring, renowned for its therapeutic properties. We will stay to enjoy the sunset before heading to dinner.

We start the morning with breakfast before visiting the stunning Fatnas Island, a palm-fringed peninsula perfect for enjoying a morning drink in a serene setting. After lunch, we head to one of Siwa’s most famous attractions: the Salt Lakes. Here, you will experience the unique sensation of effortlessly floating in the brilliant, turquoise blue water due to its high salt concentration. It’s a photographer’s paradise, especially during the beautiful desert sunset.

Following a traditional breakfast, we embark on an exciting 4×4 safari trip into the Great Sand Sea. We’ll navigate the vast sand dunes and give you a chance to try sandboarding. Our safari takes us to a unique cold lake for a refreshing swim and a picnic lunch in a stunning location. Afterward, we visit Bir Wahid, a hot spring in the middle of the dunes, where you can relax in the warm, therapeutic waters before we return to our hotel for the night.
