Day 1
Day 1

Depart your country and arrive in Cairo, Egypt. Meet your guide who will collect you from the airport and whisk you to tour accommodation for the night.Time to relax.

Day 2

Visit the Sphinx and the Pyramids in Giza with your guide and hear about their history. Enter the Egyptian Museum, home of thousands of ancient artefacts. Immerse yourselves in the Old Islamic and Coptic areas of Cairo.

Day 3
Day 3

After a morning internal flight to Luxor from Cairo, you will join your private cruise on the beautiful river Nile.Today you will visit Karnak and Luxor Temples.

Day 4
Day 4

This morning you will have the amazing opportunity to take an optional early morning Hot Air Balloon flight over the West Bank. This is a tremendous way to see the land laid out below you and to spot your favourite places!

 

Back on the ground, the incredible sites of the West Bank await you – Hatshepsut’s temple, the Valley of the Kings and for an extra small local charge, the tomb of King Tutankhamun himself!

 

You will visit a local Alabaster Factory with a very special link to the rewriting of the then known Egyptian history circa 1922.  The family who own this factory are direct descendants (grandchild) of the then 12-year-old water boy who alerted Howard Carter to the appearance of the first step of the entrance to what is now known as tomb KV62 – that of King Tutankhamun! You will meet Nubi Abdel Rasoul who can tell you all about his grandfather’s adventures and show you the newspaper clippings with the photographs!

For lunch today, you will dine with your Tour guides family in their home – a literal taste of real Egyptian life!

 

After returning to your boat, the evening will be spent cruising to Esna Lock, and you will arrive at Edfu – the best-preserved temple in Egypt! Dinner an overnight.

Day 5

After an amazing breakfast on board, you will ride to the entrance of Edfu temple in a traditional Egyptian horse drawn carriage.

After visiting Edfu, the cruise continues to visit Kom Ombo – the dual temple of the Gods Sobek and Horus.  Lunch will be served on board as you sail.

After visiting Kom Ombo, the cruise continues and tonight you will eat dinner on board with a traditional Nubian party before mooring overnight in Aswan.

Day 6

After returning to take lunch on board your cruise boat, there is an opportunity to visit a traditional Nubian Village.

Dinner and overnight stay back on board, moored in Aswan.

Day 7
Day 7

Today you can take an optional tour to see Abu Simbel, visit the Aswan High Dam and then on to the Jewel in the Nile – Philae Temple! This temple is situated on a small island, accessed by taking a small private boat. This temple is not to be missed.

Day 8

Sadly this will be your day of departure! But you will have so many memories, and great things to share when you return to your country! You will take an internal flight from Aswan, to transfer for your Cairo flight back to the your country.
