Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Aswan, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink of Egyptian tea or fresh juice. We then drive to the shores of Lake Nasser to visit the magnificent Kalabsha Temple. Originally built during the reign of Emperor Augustus and dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis, it is the second largest temple in all of Nubia and a stunning example of Greco-Roman architecture in Egypt.
Next, we will take you to the Nubian Museum, an architectural gem built with the help of UNESCO to save the treasures of Nubia. The museum is exceptionally well-organized, guiding you through the region’s rich history and culture from prehistoric times to the modern day, showcasing artifacts that would have otherwise been lost forever.
