On this half-day tour to the East Bank at Luxor, you will visit the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. The East side of Luxor was in the ancient time the capital of Egypt and the ancient Egyptian built it for the god Amon two amazing temples both temples Karnak and Luxor located direct on the Nile and both temples were built by many pharaohs in different times that’s why they are huge and complicated to understand.
Eldeak Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel and start our half-day tour with the Karnak Temple. It comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, pylons, chapels, and other buildings. Construction at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom, and continued into the Ptolemaic Kingdom, although most of the extant buildings date from the New Kingdom.
The next stop will be the Luxor temple which is considered one of the best-preserved temples in Luxor where is Ramses II built about half of it including his amazing obelisk. Unlike the other temples in Thebes, Luxor temple is not dedicated to a cult god or a deified version of the pharaoh in death.
Then we will take you to drink Egyptian tea in a local coffee shop at the end of the tour. Then we will take you back to your hotel.
