Upon arrival at Luxor airport, we take you to visit the east side of Luxor starting by Karnak temple. It comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, pylons, chapels, and other buildings. Construction at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom, and continued into the Ptolemaic Kingdom, although most of the extant buildings date from the New Kingdom.

The next stop will be the Luxor temple which is considered one of the best-preserved temples in Luxor where is Ramses II built about half of it including his amazing obelisk. Unlike the other temples in Thebes, Luxor temple is not dedicated to a cult god or a deified version of the pharaoh in death.

Then we will cross the river by motorboat to visit the famous and amazing Valley of the kings. 63 tombs are discovered now but not all the tombs are open for visitors just only 9 tombs and from this number of these tombs, you can visit only 3 tombs which our guide will recommend for you if you don’t have exactly 3 tombs in your mind.

Then we will move to visit the Worker’s village, Deir el-Medina an ancient Egyptian workmen’s village which was home to the artisans who worked on the tombs in the Valley of the Kings during the Dynasties of the New Kingdom of Egypt. The settlement’s ancient name was Set maat (Place of Truth), and the workmen who lived there were called “Servants in the Place of Truth”. It’s really amazing tombs and very worth visiting.

Then we will move to our next stop. We will host at the Eldeak family home for traditional lunch. Our family will make you traditional food with more love. Then we will sail by boat on the river during sunset time. Then we will take you to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo. And transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.
